This MiniSAS HD breakout fan-out cable is a professional server storage wiring accessory designed for RAID HBA controllers equipped with SFF-8643 internal MiniSAS HD ports. It converts one SFF-8643 host port into four separate SFF-8482 connectors, allowing you to connect four SAS or SATA 2.5/3.5-inch hard drives simultaneously to build RAID 0, RAID 1, RAID 5, RAID 6 and other disk array configurations for data backup, network storage and server database deployment.
