This 50-centimeter internal-to-external Mini SAS conversion cable is specially manufactured for server, NAS and enterprise storage system expansion. One end features an internal SFF-8643 Mini SAS HD male connector to plug directly onto RAID controllers, HBA host bus adapters and server motherboards with SFF-8643 ports. The other end is an SFF-8088 external Mini SAS female port mounted on a low profile half-height PCIe bracket, which can be installed into standard slim PCIe expansion slots on the server case.
