This package includes 2 pieces of 0.5 meter (1.6 feet) SFF-8087 Mini SAS forward breakout fanout cables with 90-degree right-angle SATA plugs, specially designed for compact server, NAS device and small workstation storage expansion.
The host end adopts standard SFF-8087 Mini SAS male connector to plug into RAID cards, HBA host bus adapters and server motherboards equipped with SFF-8087 ports. The other side splits into four 7-pin SATA female ports with right-angle elbow design, which greatly reduces cable bending pressure in narrow chassis corners, prevents wire fracture and improves overall internal airflow.
Made of high-purity oxygen-free copper conductors and multi-layer shielding structure, the cable restrains electromagnetic crosstalk inside dense cabinet environment, enabling each SATA branch to run full SATA III 6Gbps bandwidth without performance loss. Every SATA port is equipped with a spring locking buckle to prevent loose disconnection caused by long-term equipment vibration.
Note that this is a forward breakout cable only applicable to controller host ports, not for storage backplane SFF-8087 interfaces. It is an ideal wiring accessory for IT system integration, DIY disk array assembly and enterprise small-capacity storage upgrading.
