This internal SlimSAS Y-type breakout cable is engineered for enterprise server, NAS storage array and high-performance workstation internal wiring. It converts one SFF-8654 8i 8-channel SlimSAS host port into two separate SFF-8654 4i 4-channel device ports, perfectly distributing PCIe 4.0 or SAS 4.0 bandwidth to two sets of NVMe U.2 backplanes, HBA cards or solid-state drive modules.
The cable adopts industry-standard 85-ohm controlled differential impedance design, which greatly suppresses electromagnetic interference, high-frequency signal distortion and transmission errors under full-load 24Gbps SAS 4.0 operating speed, ensuring integrity for mass data access, cloud storage and RAID system operation.
Measuring 1 meter (3.3 feet) in overall length, it comes with flexible woven protective sheathing to simplify cable management in compact server chassis and avoid line abrasion.
