This product meets the signal bandwidth requirements ranging from 6Gb/s to 12Gb/s or the corresponding SAS2.1 and proposed SAS 3.0 industry standard signal specifications. This system also offers a greater linear circuit board port density (11 mm from port to port) than the previous SAS interconnect system (with a linear port density of only 19.01 mm from port to port).
- The Mini-SAS HD product fully complies with the industry specifications of SAF-8643 (for internal applications) and SAF-8644 (for external applications). The available internal and external panel connection types include 1X1(4X), 1X2(8x), and 1X4(16X) configurations, providing end customers with choice and design flexibility.
