This Mini SAS external extension assembly consists of SFF-8088 26Pin male-to-male cable and a low-profile PCBA mounting bracket, specially designed for servers equipped with internal SFF-8088 ports that need external storage expansion.
The bracket can be fixed to the server rear panel, converting internal Mini SAS ports to external accessible SFF-8088 interfaces to connect external disk arrays, JBOD cabinets and legacy SAS storage hardware. Made with high-purity shielded twinax conductors following SAS 2.0 industrial standards, it maintains consistent 6Gbps bandwidth under 24/7 sustained heavy read-write workloads in data center environments.
The slim low-profile bracket occupies minimal chassis space, perfectly matching compact 1U rack servers without blocking other expansion slots.
