This compact 2260-size M.2 adapter converts a motherboard M-Key NVMe slot into an OCuLink external host port, bridging internal M.2 NVMe storage to OCuLink peripheral devices via pure PCIe 4.0 x4 signal transmission (SAS signals not supported).
Built for 2260 NGFF M-Key NVMe SSD slots, it adopts premium 4-layer high-frequency PCB layout with integrated multi-layer shielding to suppress electromagnetic interference from internal power supplies and cooling fans, retaining full Gen4 bandwidth without speed loss over matched OCuLink extension cables. The onboard SFF-8612 female socket natively mates with SFF-8611 and SFF-8612 OCuLink 4i cables for flexible internal/external wiring layouts.
Wide system compatibility: fully bootable under UEFI 2.3.1 and above, works with Windows 8.1/10/11 64-bit and Linux Kernel 4.3+. Ideal for DIY mini workstations, laptop external GPU setups, and enterprise compact servers that need expandable U.2 NVMe storage without occupying full PCIe slot space.
Gold-plated contact pins resist oxidation for long-term stable connection, compact 22×60mm footprint fits tight chassis interiors without airflow obstruction. Easy installation with included mounting screws, no extra driver or power supply required for standard low-power NVMe/eGPU peripherals.
