This 1-meter Mini SAS HD breakout cable comes with one SFF-8644 male host connector and four SFF-8482 29Pin female combined data-power connectors for direct hard drive connection. The independent 4Pin auxiliary power cable effectively solves insufficient power issues for high-capacity high-speed hard disks during continuous read-write tasks.
The SFF-8482 integrated interface merges data and power signals in one plug, greatly simplifying internal server wiring and cutting down clutter. Made of shielded copper conductors with standard 100-Ohm impedance matching, it greatly reduces signal reflection, attenuation and electromagnetic interference between RAID cards and hard drives.
Gold-plated locking molded connectors deliver anti-vibration tight contact to avoid loose connection failures caused by server rack vibration. The 1m balanced length provides sufficient routing space without over-tensioned cables inside mid-to-large server enclosures.
