This complete M.2 NVMe to U.2/Mini SAS HD expansion kit includes a M.2 NGFF M-Key to SFF-8654 Slimline SAS adapter card and a matching SFF-8654 to SFF-8639 U.2 NVMe cable, designed to add external 2.5-inch U.2 SSD capability to mainstream motherboards.

The M.2 adapter card installs into any PCIe X4/X8/X16 motherboard slot, converting M.2 NVMe high-speed lanes to standard SFF-8654 Mini SAS HD signal output. Paired with the conversion cable, it seamlessly connects M.2 NVMe SSD to server U.2 hot-swap backplanes, NVMe JBOD arrays and Mini SAS HD RAID cards.

Manufactured with 4-layer high-frequency PCB and precise impedance matching shielded wiring, the kit effectively suppresses electromagnetic interference and signal loss during continuous high-load data transmission. Interchangeable full-height and low-profile metal brackets support compact rack servers and slim desktop chassis.
