This SI-ADA40121 conversion kit integrates an M.2 M-Key adapter board and matched SFF-8643 Mini-SAS HD to SFF-8639 U.2 data cable, specially made to connect 2.5-inch U.2 PCIe NVMe SSDs to motherboards via M.2 slot.

The M.2 adapter converts native PCIe x4 lanes to SFF-8643 Mini SAS HD signal output. The supporting cable adopts SFF-8643 on one side and standard SFF-8639 U.2 interface on the other, with built-in 15Pin SATA power wires to deliver steady power for U.2 drives, simplifying internal chassis wiring layout.
