This professional Gen5 SlimSAS storage cable is custom-designed for enterprise server high-speed NVMe U.2 SSD deployment, integrating MCIO signal transmission and independent SATA power supply in one harness. It breaks the power limitation of single signal cables, delivers full PCIe Gen5 bandwidth performance, and is widely used in data center racks, high-performance workstations and NAS storage equipment.

The cable strictly follows SFF-TA-1016 MCIO and SFF-8639 U.2 industrial specifications, supporting PCIe 5.0 32GT/s per lane and SAS 4.0 24Gbps transmission speed. High-purity copper conductors maintain excellent signal integrity, no crosstalk or transmission lag under continuous large-capacity file read-write, fully releasing the read/write speed of flagship enterprise U.2 NVMe SSDs. Backward compatible with PCIe4.0/3.0 and SAS3.0 for old-generation server hardware upgrade.

One end is compact 38Pin MCIO SlimSAS SFF-8654 4I male connector, matching new-generation Gen5 RAID HBA cards and server mainboard MCIO ports. The other end is standard SFF-8639 U.2 interface for all U.2 NVMe solid state drives. All pins adopt thick gold plating treatment to resist rust, oxidation and poor contact after frequent maintenance disassembly, long service life for IT equipment room repeated use.

Different from ordinary single signal cables without power supply, this harness adds an extra 15P SATA power branch line. It can connect server power SATA port to supply stable multi-channel power to high-power U.2 SSDs, effectively prevent system crash, speed drop and hardware protection shutdown caused by insufficient current when SSD runs at full load. Essential accessory for high-density U.2 storage arrays.

The wire core is wrapped with double-layer aluminum foil shielding + metal braided mesh, which greatly isolates EMI electromagnetic noise generated by server power supplies, CPUs and graphics cards. Outer woven mesh jacket is flexible, scratch-resistant and anti-abrasion; reinforced strain relief at connector roots prevents internal wire breakage from repeated bending and pulling, suitable for narrow server chassis internal wiring.

1. This cable is only for internal wiring inside server/NAS chassis, not for external extension.
2. Fully power off the storage device before plugging or unplugging the cable to avoid short circuit damage to SSD and RAID card.
