AJMRTC internal Mini SAS fanout cable is a professional storage breakout cable for enterprise servers and RAID systems. It connects a Mini SAS SFF-8087 port on your SAS RAID controller or HBA host to four SFF-8482 SAS hard drives or SSDs at the same time. It combines high-speed SAS data lines and independent power lines in one assembly, which simplifies cabling inside drive bays and storage backplanes.

Constructed with 100-ohm controlled-impedance tinned copper conductors and multi-layer anti-interference shielding, it minimizes signal reflection, CRC errors and intermittent drive dropouts common in long SAS runs. Each of the four SFF-8482 ends has integrated power leads, so every SAS drive receives steady power without messy separate power cables.

It works seamlessly with Adaptec, LSI and other common SAS RAID host adapters for building RAID arrays, JBOD storage groups and data recovery workstations. The latching connectors lock firmly into place and resist vibration from running server fans. Important Note: This is SAS-only SFF-8087 to SFF-8482 cable. It cannot be used for SATA-only backplanes or NVMe direct connections.
