AJMRTC active SFF-8644 to SFF-8087 stacking cable comes with an onboard IC repeater chip to boost and recover SAS signals, making it suitable for longer runs and multi-unit server stacking scenarios. It converts modern external Mini SAS HD SFF-8644 port to legacy internal SFF-8087 Mini SAS interface, supporting SAS HDD, SAS SSD and SATA drives behind SAS expanders. Heavy-duty shielding ensures stable 24/7 operation in data center rack environments. It is an active cable with signal amplification, different from ordinary passive SAS cables.
