Question 1

Is the Galaxy S24+ worth upgrading to from the Galaxy S23+?

Accepted Answer

Upgrade to the Galaxy S24+ if you want the sharper and brighter display, 12GB of RAM, a slightly larger 4,900mAh battery, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 platform in the U.S., and Samsung's longer seven-year update policy. Keep the Galaxy S23+ if its performance and cameras already meet your needs, because the rear camera hardware is broadly similar and the day-to-day improvement is evolutionary rather than a complete redesign.

Question 2

Is the Galaxy S24+ a better buy than the Galaxy S24 Ultra?

Accepted Answer

The Galaxy S24+ is the better fit if you want a lighter phone with the same core Snapdragon performance, a 6.7-inch QHD+ display, long battery life, and the standard Galaxy S24 camera system. Choose the S24 Ultra if you need the S Pen, higher-resolution 200MP photography, longer-range zoom, or Ultra-specific camera features. The S24+ provides the simpler, lighter alternative to the Ultra rather than matching its camera hardware.

Question 3

Should I get the 256GB or 512GB Galaxy S24+?

Accepted Answer

Choose the 256GB Galaxy S24+ for typical communication, streaming, photography, and app use. Choose the 512GB version if you regularly record 4K or 8K video, download large games, keep extensive offline media, or plan to use the phone for several years without managing storage. The two configurations provide the same processor, display, camera system, and 12GB of RAM; the main difference is storage capacity.

Question 4

Should I buy the Galaxy S24+ or the smaller Galaxy S24?

Accepted Answer

Choose the Galaxy S24+ if you want a larger 6.7-inch QHD+ display, a 4,900mAh battery, and faster 45W wired charging. Choose the Galaxy S24 if one-handed use and lower weight matter more. Both models use the same core camera system and flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 platform in the U.S.

Question 5

Is the Galaxy S24+ worth choosing over the cheaper Galaxy A54 5G?

Accepted Answer

Choose the Galaxy S24+ if you prioritize flagship performance, a sharper QHD+ 120Hz display, a brighter screen, a telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, and stronger long-term performance for gaming or demanding apps. Choose the Galaxy A54 5G if lower cost and adequate everyday performance matter more. The A54 has a slightly larger battery capacity, but the S24+ offers substantially higher-end display, processor, and camera hardware.

Question 6

What should I check before buying this Grade A refurbished Galaxy S24+?

Accepted Answer

Confirm the seller's definition of Grade A, minimum battery condition, return window, warranty, included accessories, cosmetic standards, and whether the phone is fully carrier-unlocked. Grade A describes the expected condition but does not by itself guarantee a specific battery capacity or warranty period. These details are especially important for a used or refurbished phone.

Question 7

Is the Galaxy S24+ good for meetings, office work, and note-taking?

Accepted Answer

Yes, it is well suited to email, video meetings, documents, calendars, multitasking, and mobile productivity. Its large 6.7-inch display and 12GB of RAM support comfortable viewing and app switching. The S24+ does not include the built-in S Pen found on the Ultra model, so users who need handwritten notes should plan to use a compatible accessory or a typing-based notes app.

Question 8

Is this Galaxy S24+ suitable for travel, work, and hotspot use?

Accepted Answer

Yes, it is suitable for travel and mobile work when the destination carrier supports the SM-S926U model. The phone supports mobile hotspot use and, on compatible versions, both a physical nano-SIM and eSIM. Before international travel, verify carrier bands, roaming support, SIM status, and whether the seller's unlocked Grade A unit has any regional restrictions.

Question 9

Does this Galaxy S24+ support both a physical SIM and an eSIM?

Accepted Answer

The SM-S926U version supports a physical nano-SIM and eSIM. Actual eSIM activation depends on the carrier, account, and device status, so confirm compatibility with the intended carrier before purchase. The listing's 'PE sim' wording should also be clarified with the seller if SIM configuration is important.

Question 10

Is 256GB enough storage for the Galaxy S24+?

Accepted Answer

256GB is sufficient for most users who mainly use apps, photos, messaging, streaming, and occasional video recording. It may be limiting for users who store many large videos, offline media files, or extensive games because the Galaxy S24+ does not provide expandable microSD storage. Heavy content creators should plan to use cloud or external storage.
