OM5 LC-LC Fiber Optic Patch Cable Multimode 40/100Gb is designed for the future 200/400 giga-bit networks with a full backwards compatibility with the existing 10/40/100 giga-bit Ethernet networks.
40Gb Ethernet Distance of 440Meters at 850nm; 100Gb Ethernet Distance of 300Meters at 850nm. Bandwidth is 4700~6000MHz.km @850nm.
OM5 fiber patch cables extend the maximum transmission distance, and with the new SWDM, OM5 WBMMF can operate between 850 and 953nm wavelength to support multiple wavelengths over a single fiber channel, achieving increased bandwidth through reduced fiber counts.
