What kind of water is best to use?
For best results, use distilled or demineralized water to prevent mineral deposits. Tap water can be used, but may cause white dust and scaling, so more frequent cleaning will be needed.
Can I add essential oils to the water tank? What steps can I take to avoid water leakage?
No, adding oils directly into water can damage the unit and cause malfunction. To prevent leaks, make sure the water tank is correctly positioned and sealed, do not fill beyond the MAX line, and kept air outlet dry during refilling and cleaning.
Why is the mist height lower and the surfaces getting damp?
1. Air intake is blocking: Please place the humidifier on a FLAT & HARD surface, DON'T place on CARPETS / TOWELS.
2. Indoor humidity is too high: Please turn off the humidifier and ventilate the room or use Auto Mode. The ideal humidity is 50%-60%.
What should I do if the mist output remains low even at the highest setting?
A weak mist is often due to mineral accumulation on the ultrasonic plate. We suggest cleaning it with a mild vinegar solution and using distilled water. For best performance, please clean the humidifier every 3–7 days to prevent residue buildup.
Why does the mist output not change immediately after adjusting the humidity range?
Please check if the humidifier is in auto mode. In this mode, the device adjusts the mist output based on the current indoor humidity. It produces more when the air is dry and less or stop when the target humidity is nearly reached.
