Adjustable Emissivity
Improve accuracy when measuring any object or surface by adjusting the emissivity setting (0.1-1.0) of this laser infrared thermometer.
This emissivity feature is preset at 0.95, making it suitable for measuring the surface temperatures of most objects.
More accurate adjustments can be made by referring to the user manual.

DO NOT use the ROOKPRO temperature measuring gun for human body temperature measurement, because the sensor mechanism is different, it is not suitable for human body!
Can it be used by the human body?
ROOKPRO heat temperature gun is not designed for measuring human body temperatures. Do not use this product to take temperature readings of foreheads. All temperature readings for humans will be incorrect.
Why is there a beeping sound when measuring in infrared mode?
The buzzer that emits a 'beep' is to remind you that the measurement has been completed. Ending the measurement after the 'beep' will provide more accurate data.
