Are these 100% Bamboo?
All our cutting boards are 100 % bamboo.
Crafted from premium alpine bamboo, our carbonized boards are durable, water-resistant, and antimicrobial. Each board features a unique grain pattern, adding natural beauty to your kitchen.
How do you clean and care for these bamboo cutting boards?
1. wash it only with mild soap
2.rinse and dry immediately
3.store in a dry place
4.apply food-grade mineral oil once a month
Is the bamboo used to make the cutting board grown without using any non organic pesticides and fertilizers?
Our bamboo boards are made from organic material with no fertilizers or pesticides. No worries! If you notice any fibers, simply use a fine-grit sandpaper to gently smooth the surface. Your board will be as good as new in no time.
Why are there bamboo fibers on the surface after washing?
Bamboo is a natural material, so during use, you may notice tiny fibers rising to the surface. This is a normal reaction as the bamboo adjusts to moisture and temperature changes.
Do you need bamboo oil to preserve the wood?
Any decent cutting board oil will do. I've never heard of of a specifically bamboo oil. I do oil these boards occasionally because they often have meat juices on them and I use them for presentation.
