Is the teak cutting board food-safe?
Definitely! We don't use any harmful chemicals or synthetic glazes. All materials for crafting the board are non - toxic and safe for food contact.
Are your cutting boards dishwasher safe?
No. After each use, simply wash the board with warm, soapy water. Then rinse, dry or air-dry, and store when completely dry.
Do I need to oil the teak cutting board?
Yes. Even though teak has a naturally high oil content, oiling it twice a month helps keep the cutting board in good condition.
How to deal with odors or stains on the cutting board?
Rub a lemon on the board and sprinkle with salt or baking soda. Then wash, rinse, and dry. Teak cutting boards rarely have these issues, but this method works when needed.
Will each teak cutting board look the same as the picture on the listing?
It will be similar, but not identical. Natural teak has its own character: distinct grain lines, tiny color shifts (warm honey to rich amber) and small natural details. It’ll have the same lovely teak look, but unique touches make it yours alone.
