How can I insert the filament so it goes to the extruder? I can't find any tutorials on this. I've been looking at pictures but I haven't gotten very far.

You should have gotten a narrow white tube that goes from the filament feed to the extruder. This tube clicks into place and allows you to feed your filament all the way to your extruder.

Where can I find the serial number for this product?

Silver label on the back of the controller (looks like 3FD1X-...
