This Funssor V0.1 Mini Afterburner toolhead PCB is a professional wiring breakout circuit board developed for the Voron V0.1 tiny core 3D printer, specially engineered to pair with the Mini Afterburner direct drive extruder and small-size NEMA14 round pancake stepper motor, solving the messy scattered wiring problem of the original print head and greatly improving the tidiness and reliability of the toolhead electrical system.
The PCB adopts a precisely cut irregular outline that perfectly conforms to the V0.1 toolhead structural cavity without modification or trimming during installation. Each port is clearly silk-screened for easy identification, including interfaces for hotend heating cartridge, 100K thermistor, part cooling fan, heat sink fan, X-axis endstop limit switch, as well as motor wiring and Umbilical main harness docking port. Integrated centralized wiring design eliminates loose flying wires inside the moving toolhead, effectively avoiding wire abrasion, short circuit and intermittent open circuit caused by long-term high-speed reciprocating movement.
It is fully matched to the low-profile NEMA14 pancake motor layout of the V0.1 Mini Afterburner extruder, supporting stable power and signal transmission for the compact direct extrusion mechanism, reducing toolhead overall weight to lower moving inertia and boost printing precision and acceleration performance. The printed circuit board undergoes rigorous impedance and anti-interference treatment, resisting electromagnetic interference generated by the stepper motor and heating element to guarantee consistent sensor reading and fan operation during continuous 3D printing.
The whole set comes with all necessary installation accessories: pre-assembled white plug housings, metal crimp terminal pins and the main black locking Umbilical connector. Users only need to crimp the toolhead wires to the pins and insert into the corresponding sockets, no soldering required for basic wiring assembly, drastically lowering the difficulty of DIY assembly, maintenance and hotend replacement.
High-quality FR-4 substrate and gold-plated contact terminals extend service life against oxidation, vibration and temperature cycling inside the enclosed printer frame. Standard pinout definition is fully compatible with mainstream firmware including Klipper and Marlin, plug-and-play after wiring completion without complex configuration.
Widely used for brand-new Voron V0.1 printer assembly, old machine toolhead wiring overhaul, Mini Afterburner extruder upgrade modification and 3D printing maker laboratory equipment renovation, it is an essential standardized electrical accessory for building a neat, stable and low-failure-rate Voron Zero compact 3D printer.
