Silver (Ag) PLA+ Anti-Microbial Composite-- Extruded from REVODE110 Polylactic Acid Resin. Naturally derived from renewable plant resources. Silver (Ag) protects the PLA+ from excessive internal microbial growth. REVODE110 is low order, environmentally friendly, has a low carbon footprint, and is a renewable material. Silver (Ag) PLA+ is Food Grade Certified by both TÜV SÜD and SGS with reference to The U. S. Food & Drug Administration Code of Federal Regulations (21 CFR 175.300 ).
Lab Tested-- Anti-Bacterial Silver (Ag) PLA+ has been Independently Lab Verified to reduce the growth of bacteria by 99.9 %. PLA+ is a Bio-Based material. The addition of Silver (Ag) ensures that Bio-Based PLA+ materials retains structure and internal sterility. Although the Anti-Viral properties of Silver (Ag) have been studied extensively, Silver (Ag) PLA+ does not claim to stop the spread of pathogens. Carbon Brand Silver (Ag) PLA+ is lab tested, in compliance with 21 CFR 175.300.
Smooth Printing -- REVODE110 is one of the easiest resins to extrude and thermoform with. Advanced CCD diameter measuring and self-adaptive control system in the manufacturing produces PLA+ filaments of 1.75 mm diameter, with
dimensional accuracy of: +/- 0.02 mm. A stable dimensional accuracy ensures a smooth feeding experience.
Mechanical Properties and Consistency-- Use REVODE Polyactic Acid Resin for both 3D Printing and Injection Molding. Carbon Brand PLA+ maintains Mechanical Consistency throughout your Project.
Tensile strength (X-Y): 35 ± 1.1 (MPa), Deflection
Temperature: @ 0.455 MPa (66 psi) D 648 61.5 °C ( 142.7 °F), Processing
Melt Temperature: 190-220 °C.
Professional Packaging & Compatibility-- Filament is vacuum packaged with desiccant to keep filament dry and free of dust and foreign particles. Carbon Brand PLA+ is perfectly compatible with most FDM 3D printers, that support 3rd party materials.
These include: Makerbot, Zortrax, Quidi, Prusa i3 MK3, M3D, Robo 3D, Wanhao, Creality Ender 3, Monoprice, FlashForge and more.
Printing Temp and Nozzle Recommendation-- Recommended Extrusion/Nozzle Temperature: 190°C - 220°C. We recommend replacing your brass nozzle with a stainless steel nozzle and using an all-metal hot end. Brass nozzles run the risk of containing lead, which can be dangerous for your health if consumed.
Food Safe Suggestions-- We suggest that you use a stainless steel nozzle and a stainless steel all-metal hot-end. Use a separate nozzle and hot end for Food Grade models. A second hot-end will keep your Food-Grade prints free from contaminants.
