AJMRTC A4988 Stepstick stepper motor driver module is a common motion control component for DIY 3D printers and CNC machines. It adopts the A4988 carrier chip, supporting full, half, 1/4, 1/8 and 1/16 microstepping modes to achieve smooth motor rotation and reduce vibration. The on-board potentiometer allows users to manually set the output current to match different stepper motors and avoid burnout caused by excessive current. A pre-matched aluminum heat sink is included to draw away working heat during continuous operation, keeping the module stable under long printing or engraving tasks. It is perfectly compatible with RepRap series and RAMPS 1.4 control boards. Please pay attention to correct wiring direction before powering on; wrong connection may burn the driver. This module drives bipolar stepper motors and is widely applied in 3D printing, small CNC engraving machines, robotic arms and automatic feeding equipment.
