Can this PLA Basic really print at 500-600mm/s?
Yes, PLA Basic is formulated for high-speed printing up to 600mm/s with proper cooling and flow rate. For best results, use nozzle 220-230°C, bed 50-60°C. Start at 300mm/s. High speed can reduce layer adhesion, so adjust cooling fan to 80-100%
Why does my nozzle keep clogging at high speed?
High-speed printing requires more melt flow. If temp too low, filament can’t melt fast enough. Raise nozzle temp by 10-15°C (try 220-235°C). Also check your flow rate limit; if it’s set below 20-25mm³/s, the extruder may skip. Clean nozzle regularly
The filament snapped on the spool. Is this normal?
PLA can become brittle when exposed to moisture. Dry filament at 50-55°C for 6-8 hours. Spool tangles happen if you let go of filament end – always insert the tip into spool edge holes after unloading. Our filament is machine-wound to avoid tangles
Can I use this PLA Basic with my AMS?
Yes, PLA Basic is fully AMS compatible. Unlike abrasive or very brittle filaments, PLA Basic feeds smoothly through AMS and won't damage the funnel. For best results, keep spool edges clean and store filament in dry environment
Will the color be the same if I buy again next month?
Yes. Toksen3D PLA Basic uses strict batch-to-batch color calibration and ISO-controlled raw materials. Colors remain consistent across production runs. If you need to match an existing print, share batch number and we'll check closest current batch
