- This Dell CBL-QSFP-40GE-PASS-1M compatible 40G QSFP+ passive Direct Attach Copper cable gives you a low-cost, low-latency link for short 40 Gigabit Ethernet runs. The 1 meter Twinax copper assembly has QSFP+ connectors permanently terminated at both ends, so there are no optics to buy and nothing to clean or align.
- Passive DAC draws almost no power and adds far less latency than an optical link, which makes it the standard choice for top-of-rack switch to server connections, switch stacking, and storage uplinks inside the same rack or an adjacent one. The cable is plug and play, hot swappable, and built to 100 impedance for clean signal integrity at 40Gbps.
- It is rated for operation from 0°C to 70°C and storage from -40°C to 85°C, and meets MSA, SFF-8436 and RoHS requirements. Each cable is programmed and tested on Dell equipment before it ships.
