3m (10ft) Dell Networking 331-8160 Compatible 40G QSFP+ Passive Direct Attach Copper Twinax Cable

    • Dell Networking 331-8160 Compatible 40G QSFP+ Direct Attach Copper Cable (3m, 26AWG, Passive)
    • This 40G QSFP+ twinax cable is a lower-cost replacement for the Dell Networking 331-8160 assembly. It fits the 40G QSFP+ ports on Dell Networking switches, servers and adapter cards, and carries a maximum aggregate rate of 40 Gb/s across four 10 Gb/s lanes.
    • The cable is factory programmed and tested, so the port recognises it at plug-in and it performs the same as the original. Being passive it needs no power beyond the host port and adds almost no latency, drawing a maximum of 1.5 W.
    • At 3 metres it reaches between adjacent racks or across a full-height cabinet, where a 1 metre cable would fall short. It uses heavier 26AWG conductors rather than the 30AWG used on shorter runs, which is what carries the signal cleanly over the extra distance. That also makes it thicker and stiffer, so with a 30 mm minimum bend radius and 0.4 kg of weight, allow proper room behind the rack and support it rather than letting it hang off the port.
    • Features
    • Functionally identical to the Dell Networking 331-8160
    • Maximum aggregate data rate 40 Gb/s (4 x 10 Gb/s)
    • Single 3.3V power supply
    • Maximum 1.5 W operating power
    • RoHS compliant and lead-free
    • Specifications
