The Aluminum Post Kit simplifies the installation process. Each post contains a post cap, a post skirt, and a base plate for mounting to the deck surface. This kit is designed for use with Arlington, Georgetown, and Cornell Aluminum Railing kits for both stair railings and straight railings. For 36-inch tall railings, use 39-inch posts for straight runs and 45-inch posts for each side of the stairs. For 42-inch tall railings, use 45-inch posts for straight runs and 54-inch posts for each side of the stairs. The posts can be trimmed on site if necessary. Fasteners for installation to the deck or concrete surface are not provided. Additional blocking might be needed
