HOW TO CHOOSE YOUR PERFECT KINSHO BENTO
1) How much variety do you want?
Compartment quantity ranges from 3 to 6. Think about how much variety you include in your meals and snacks. Remember that depending on the item, smaller portions can be filling and nutritious!
2) How much volume do you need?
One person's snack is another person's meal. Think about the volume of food you need to prep and if it covers multiple meals. Our Classic bento boxes come in Large, Medium & Mini to fit all appetites.
3) Do you need to fit a full traditional sandwich?
Standard sandwiches will fit in our Classic Large 3 and 4 compartment lunch boxes. Cut sandwiches to fit into the other styles. Mini bagels, rolls, hot dog buns, tortilla wraps will fit - be creative!
4) Where will the food be consumed?
kinsho bentos are made for lunch ... and life! Consider space in your bag, appetite level, time before next meal, and if you need to bring something 'just in case' someone may get hungry/hangry!
5) Do you need to keep utensils in the box?
Our 5 and 6 compartment bento have a designated space for utensils (which are included.) When not using utensils it fits carrots, grapes, etc. Utensils fit in the large compartment of the other styles
6) Do you need to keep the food cool?
Several Classic bentos come in sets with matching lunch bag and ice pack. Our ice packs are also available separately and made of fabric in a thin, large rectangle shape to cover lunch optimally.
