What hydroxyapatite actually is.
Hydroxyapatite is the primary mineral in human tooth enamel the same substance your teeth are made of, at approximately 97% composition. When enamel loses mineral density through acid exposure and wear, it becomes more porous, more sensitive, and more prone to discoloration. Hydroxyapatite deposits mineral directly into the enamel's crystalline structure, filling the gaps where mineral was lost. The repair is structural, not superficial.
The Vitamin D3 advantage.
The body cannot absorb calcium into enamel without Vitamin D3. D3 is the co-factor that unlocks calcium absorption. Without it, supplemental calcium passes through the oral environment without integrating into the mineral matrix.
