The terminations utilize a distinctive ultrasonic welding method that bonds the copper wire directly to the brass banana or spade connector, without any intervening metal, compression sleeves, or set screws. Star quad cable design decreases the electromagnetic field around the cable for reduced interaction with other system cabling. Assembled in Seattle, Washington using proprietary connectors and a Sonobond welder.
