Conventional star-quad design: two connectors on each end, connected to a pair of opposite-side conductors. This cable is also offered in bi-wired arrangements. The terminations employ a special ultrasonic welding method that bonds the copper wire directly to the brass banana or spade connector, without any intervening metal, compression sleeves, or setscrews. Star quad cable design minimizes the EM field surrounding the cable for less interaction with other system wiring. Assembled in Seattle, Washington, using proprietary connectors and a Sonobond welder. The locking banana plugs ensure superb engagement between plug and binding post; advancing the locking collar secures the splines to the inside of the post
