About Our Adhesive - Please NOTE, this is a Super Glue LIQUID with very high fluidity.
1. Not Suitable for Untreated Metals or Wood:
We recommend avoiding the application of this adhesive on untreated metal surfaces or unpolished wood. The smooth surface of metal or the rough, porous nature of wood may affect the bonding strength. If your project involves metal or wood, ensure the surface is properly prepared, such as sanding, cleaning, or using a dedicated adhesive for these materials.
2. This adhesive is a clear liquid:
However, in some cases, a white, cloudy effect (known as “blooming” or whitening) may occur due to excessive glue, high humidity, or poor ventilation. This is a natural property of cyanoacrylate adhesives and does not indicate a defect. To maintain a transparent finish, avoid overuse and apply the adhesive within the recommended temperature range.
3. Not Suitable for Certain Plastics:
Due to the smooth nature of some plastics (like PP and PE), the adhesive may not bond effectively. If you're working with these materials, we recommend using a specific adhesive designed for plastics to ensure a stronger bond.
4. Excessive Glue May Lead to Bond Failure:
Using too much adhesive may slow down the curing process or even cause bond failure. For optimal results, apply an appropriate amount of glue to each bonding area. Excess glue can not only affect adhesion but may also prevent quick curing. Our adhesive is fast-drying, with an initial setting time of 10-60 seconds and a full curing time of 12-24 hours.
- NOTE: Our Super Glue LIQUID has HIGH fluidity, so please use it carefully to avoid spills. It is ideal for tasks requiring quick absorption and coverage, setting in just 10-45 seconds! Allow a full cure in 24 hours.
- BUT If you prefer a more controlled application with no dripping, we recommend our Super Glue GEL. Our gel adhesive is Non-Drip, offering precise application with minimal mess, making it perfect for detailed work.
