I have a catnapper sofa that just broke on the plastic handle part that you pull up on from just inside the seat. Will your part work as a replacement. I only need to replace the plaster handle part but am not sure how?

The entire cable must be replaced. The handle is attached to a tightly woven cable that is about 20" long. There are no pieces to this part that can replaced separately. You must be able to detach the two areas of the couch that the cable sits in between. Once you have them apart, you will see that there are a few screws that you must remove to take out the old cable assembly. It's a good idea to take a photo of the way it's attached so you know you're putting the new one in the correct way and are shaping the cable the exact way the old one was.
