Millivolt Gas Valve:Named after the amount of voltage the valve needs to open.Usually comes with a manual knob and needs to be controlled by a knob or switch.Gas valves utilize a continuously burning vertical pilot to heat a device,which then generates a small amount of electricity.This small amount of electricity provides enough current to control a solenoid,which overcomes a spring to open the valve to control gas flow.

If the product can be paired properly (emitting a "beep sound" and some models flashing red light), it may be due to a malfunction in other accessories such as the fireplace valve.
You can try turning the sliding switch of the receiver to the "ON" and "OFF" positions respectively to see if the fireplace can be turned on or off normally. If it can be used normally, it proves that the pairing is incorrect. Please try pairing again.
If the sliding switch is turned to the "ON" and "OFF" positions respectively and the fireplace does not respond, it indicates that there is a malfunction in the fireplace (valves, control modules, thermocouples, etc.) or a remote control malfunction (you may have received a defective product)
