The SGM-250 is the flagship model in Azden's Ni-Go-Maru (250) Series of shotgun microphones and is designed to be a flexible work-horse for the modern video creator. Record detailed, natural sound with the versatility of dual-power. Run off 48V phantom power or a AA battery without sacrificing on performance. Measuring 250mm in length (about 10 inches) the SGM-250 is suitable for almost any filming situation. Long enough to capture great sound while mounted to a boom pole, yet still unobtrusive enough to be used mounted on compact DSLR cameras. The microphones uniquely designed, slotted, acoustic barrel exhibits excellent supercardioid directionality and side noise rejection, while the durable aluminum-brass alloy body protects the internal electronics from RF interference.
