It is super easy to operate, just insert the pencil into the holder and crank clockwise while holding the sharpener, the pencil starts to move inside the sharpener with each crank; when the resistance decreases crank it anticlockwise and the pencil starts to come out on its own!
Tips:
- Please do not sharpen crayons, chalk, pastel, wax based pencils, eyebrow pencils, or ultra soft core charcoal/colored pencils as they will jam the blade and cause broken lead.
- Do not sharpen any more when the pencil is done, or it will chew up your pencils!
- Pencils with thicker core will get longer points. Standard No. 2 pencils don't get such long points.
