Important note - For painting, the WHITE Cabinet Grain Filler is suggested. It contains higher solids for improved visibility and adhesion, enabling better performance with fewer applications. This Clear formula is optimal when using clear coats rather than paint. Versatile and compatible with other products: Filling your wood grain before staining not only creates that beautiful smooth finish you desire, but also seals the pores and helps minimize absorption of your top coat, saving time and money. The Clear Grain Filler can be blended with water-soluble pigments or dyes. Easy to use: Apply the Clear Grain Filler generously into open wood grain and pores against the grain using a small squeegee, bondo blade, old credit card, or gloved fingers. Remove excess with a squeegee, bondo blade, or an old credit card with the grain. Allow to dry for 45-60 minutes. Very lightly sand with 320 or higher grit sandpaper or a fine scotchbrite sanding pad right before the next application of grain filler. 2-3 coats are recommended
