Polycarbonate / Polycarb (PC sheet) is the preferred option over Plexiglass for use around the home, workshop, car, and in the VEX Robotics Competition. It is very easily workable without cracking or chipping. The exclusive EasyRuler Protective Film makes work even simpler; just peel it off to reveal a pristine, smooth, clear surface. This material is shatter resistant, easy to cut, drill, bend, and thermoform. Use simple tools like snips or hacksaws to cut and standard drill bits without cracking or fracturing. It is easy to bend with a heat gun and may also be cold-bendable. It is thermoformable and often used for vacuum molding. This polycarbonate plastic sheet is made from 100% virgin, brand-name polycarbonate PC resin. This means you get the same high quality clear plastic sheet you expect with the exclusive EasyRuler film. This polycarbonate sheet is UV stabilized, making it suitable for general-purpose applications with moderate sunlight exposure. For significant direct sun exposure over extended periods, UV coated sheets are recommended. The exact size sheet is precisely 48x96", unlike other nominal sheets that can be up to 1/4" smaller than specified. It contains a single accurately square and straight cut sheet of 1/8" (0.118", approximately 3mm/3.2mm) thick Polycarbonate. The panel measures 4 feet by 8 feet, with a thickness of 1/8 inch (0.118 inches, approximately 0.125 inch). This is a 4x8ft full-size panel. Please note: This sheet ships rolled. Due to the size of the full-size 4x8 plastic sheet, it is not possible to ship it in any way other than rolled. It is packed in a large box, so it is not rolled very tightly. Unroll the sheet immediately upon delivery and it will flatten out very well
