6 Lb. Density Expanding Pour Foam, 2 Part Polyurethane Closed Cell Liquid Foam for Boats, Dock Flotation, Carving, Soundproofing, Filling Voids, and Insulation (2 Gallon Kit)

    • Flotation Foam is a two-part polyurethane foam. When combined in equal proportions and poured into place, this foam offers soundproofing, insulation, or additional buoyancy. This 6LB density polyurethane flotation foam is a 2-gallon kit, containing 1 gallon of Part A and 1 gallon of Part B, yielding roughly 2.5 cubic feet. Once completely cured, this foam can be laminated over with any type of polyester, epoxy, or vinyl ester resin without dissolving. The 6LB density performs well for floating decoy or taxidermy uses, in addition to numerous other sculpting, casting, carving, and filling applications. All expansion rates and times are highly dependent on temperature. Temperatures below 75°F will reduce the expansion rate, necessitating more foam. The optimal working temperature is 75° to 80°F or higher. Precise measurement of these products is very important. Working time before foaming: approximately 45 seconds. Time before full expansion: approximately 5 minutes
