Dynastar Step Up & Step Down Voltage Converter and Transformer, 110-220 to 220-240 Volts; Heavy Duty, Extra Durable Lifetime Coil, 5-Year-Warranty, 500 Watts
The patented universal step up/step down voltage converter and transformer is engineered to keep your devices powered anywhere in the world. Easily calculate your appliance wattage. It includes 2 spare fuses and a Euro Schuko plug adapter for smaller electronics. The heavy-duty, extra durable coil guarantees safe continuous operation. You can use multiple appliances with the same transformer, provided the total wattage does not exceed its capacity. It accommodates virtually any plug from around the world, except for US 220/240 volt outlets commonly found on commercial products like washers and dryers. To determine the correct wattage allowance for the voltage converter/transformer, first identify the wattage of the electronic devices or appliances you intend to use. This information is typically found on the manufacturer's label on the back or bottom of the device, or in the specifications section of the owner's manual. Note: Watts may be listed as "W". If you cannot find "Watts" or "W" on the label, look for "Amps," also known as "amperage" or "A". If only the amperage is shown, multiply the input voltage by the amperage to calculate the wattage. For instance: Volts x Amps = Watts, or 110V x 1.5 A = 165W. After totaling the watts of all devices to be used with the transformer, add up the total watts and multiply that number by 3. You require a converter rated for at least 3 times the total watts of your devices to allow for potential power surges.
