    Product description

Is your router, gateway, or hotspot struggling with a weak or unstable cellular signal? The 2-Pack 8dBi 4G LTE External Antenna Set offers a robust and high-performance upgrade. By directly replacing your devices stock antennas, these 8dBi, high-gain antennas can significantly strengthen your cellular signal, dramatically extending your networks reach and improving overall reliability.

    What Makes 8dBi High Gain?

Most factory-installed antennas are limited to 2-3dBi gain. Upgrading to our 8dBi antennas can increase your effective coverage area by up to 3-5 times. For users in fringe coverage areas (1-2 bars), this upgrade can transform an unusable, slow connection into a reliable one capable of streaming and browsing.

Title: 2 Antennas = 2 Data Paths = Faster Speeds, Lower Latency

Text: Traditional single-antenna setups suffer from signal reflections and interference (multipath fading). 2x2 MIMO uses two antennas to transmit and receive data simultaneously, effectively creating two data pipes between your device and the cell tower. The result: faster throughput, lower latency, and more stable connections even in congested network environments.

This antenna set works with virtually any device equipped with RP-SMA Female ports, the most common external antenna connector for 4G routers and hotspots:

    4G LTE Routers & Gateways:

    1. Netgear Nighthawk M1 (MR1100), M5 (MR5100), M6 (MR6110)
    2. Huawei B525, B535, B593, B818, CPE Pro 2
    3. TP-Link Archer MR200, MR400, MR600, MR6400
    4. D-Link DWR-921, DWR-953
    5. ASUS 4G-AC68U, 4G-AC86U
    6. ZTE MF279, MF289
    7. Cradlepoint, Sierra Wireless, Teltonika industrial routers

    Mobile Hotspots:

    1. Verizon Jetpack 7730L, 8800L
    2. AT&T Nighthawk, Velocity 2
    3. T-Mobile Inseego MiFi 8000
    4. Netgear Nighthawk M1/M5/M6 series

    Other Devices:

    1. 4G LTE Trail/Game Cameras (Spypoint, Stealth Cam, Vosker, etc.)
    2. Cellular signal boosters and repeaters (as an external antenna)
    3. Industrial IoT gateways and M2M terminals

This is a straightforward, tool-free replacement. Before you start, power off your device to ensure safety.

Step 1: Locate the external antenna ports on your device. Most 4G LTE routers have two ports labeled ANT1 and ANT2 or Main and Aux. For 2x2 MIMO performance, connect both antennas.

Step 2: Unscrew your devices existing antenna by hand from the RP-SMA Female port. Keep the old antennas as backups if needed.

Step 3: Screw the new antennas RP-SMA Male connector onto the devices RP-SMA Female port. Hand-tighten only do not use tools to avoid damaging the connector.

Step 4: Position the antennas for optimal signal. They are omnidirectional, so vertical orientation is generally best. For MIMO setups, aim for at least 20 inches (50cm) of separation between the two antennas.

Step 5: Reboot your device and run a speed test or check your signal bars. You should notice an immediate improvement.

    1. THIS IS A STAND-ALONE ANTENNA. This product is just the antenna. It does NOT include any mounting base, extension cable, or adapter. It is designed to screw directly onto a device with an RP-SMA Female port.
    2. Connector Compatibility: This antenna uses RP-SMA Male (Inner Hole No Center Pin) connectors. Please verify your device has RP-SMA Female (Outer Thread + Center Hole) ports before ordering. Confusing SMA with RP-SMA connectors is the #1 cause of returns for this product type.
    3. Signal Environment: Actual performance depends on your distance from cell towers, local terrain, building materials, and network congestion. For best results, position antennas outdoors and as high as possible.
    4. IP67 Waterproof: The IP67 rating ensures the antenna can withstand rain and dust, but the connector junction with your device should be protected from direct water exposure for long-term durability. This is a bare antenna, not recommended for permanent outdoor mounting unless the device port is also protected.
