3M Scotch 9425 Removable Repositionable Tape: 1/2 in x 72 yds. (Translucent)

3M 9425 Removable Repositionable Tape is a translucent UPVC film differentially coated with a removable/repositionable, medium tack, adhesive on one side (back/liner side) and a permanent, high tack, adhesive on the other (face/exposed side). The medium-tack adhesive allows removal from many foils and films without adhesive residue. In many cases, the tape can be reused numerous times. The user should perform specific tests to determine the product’s suitability for the particular application. The UPVC film carrier on the tape provides differential stability which offers improved handling for laminating and die-cutting.

3M 9425 is used for repositioning or multiple openings and closings and works on a variety of substrates or materials for temporary adhering, affixing, mounting, holding, attaching, and positioning of lightweight materials such as paper, photographic paper, plastics, films, foams, and cardboard. This double-sided / double-coated tape can be applied at 32F. The moisture stable release liner also improves the processing of parts and ease of liner removal.

NOTES: Sizes shipped will typically be the tape industry standard metric-cut sizes, i. e. 24mm for each 1 inch of nominal tape width ordered (rolls are approximately 5% narrower than the nominal size). This product's actual size is 12mm x 66m. This tape is typically cut to width from log rolls so most sizes ship on non-branded plain white cores. As with any adhesive tape product it is always the user's responsibility to determine that the product is suitable for their intended use; e. g. if you want to remove a product cleanly from a specific type of substrate please test on an inconspicuous area first.
