Ideal for critical paint masking applications in automotive, specialty vehicle and industrial markets where strong holding and high temp performance is required, it is frequently used in two-tone color applications on trucks, buses, trailers, trains, fire trucks, ambulances, and airplanes. 3M Scotch 401+ High Performance green masking tape is a solvent-free adhesive that offers 36 ounces per inch of peel adhesion compared to 3M's blue painter’s tape, which only offers 23 ounces per inch. This means it maintains an exceptionally strong hold on metal, rubber, glass and plastic, yet it is still designed to remove cleanly in one piece, without leaving any residue behind. The conformability of 401+ makes this tape especially useful when placing it around corners, over contours and irregular surfaces. Made in Canada. NOTES: Sizes shipped will typically be the tape industry standard metric-cut sizes, i.e. 24mm for each 1 inch of nominal tape width ordered (rolls are approximately 5% narrower than the nominal size). This product's actual size is 12mm x 55m.
