3M 232 High Performance Masking Tape is a versatile masking tape intended for use in painting applications to provide clean lines with little to no bleeding, and simple removal. The flexible crepe backing is easy to tear, resists slivering, is easy to mold to corners/curves and can be taken off in one piece in normal operating temperatures. This backing also contains a solvent resistant saturant that helps resist paint bleed against latex and oil-based paints. The natural rubber adhesive bonds well to paper, metal, wood, and painted surfaces with reliable holding power that does not leave residue behind.
