Polyken 360-17 FoilMastic Butyl Seal & Repair Tape combines a 2 mil dead-soft printed aluminum foil backing with a 15 mil butyl rubber mastic adhesive for a total thickness of 17 mils. The aggressive mastic delivers an instant water-tight and air-tight bond for permanent repairs and long-lasting sealing in indoor and outdoor environments.

Use it to seal joints on low, medium, and high pressure HVAC duct systems (metal, fiberglass, and flexible duct), seal cracks and seams in gutters, roof valleys, eaves, hips, and ridges, seal around chimneys and vent stacks, repair gouges or tears in metal panels on trailers, shipping containers, and metal buildings, and patch leaks on vans, cars, trucks, and mobile homes.

The conformable foil backing is paintable and can take the place of caulk on round, square, or irregular shapes. The tape includes an LDPE release liner for ease of installation, has a non-staining adhesive, offers strong resistance to cold, heat, water, and sunlight, and meets SMACNA Seal Classes A, B, and C.
