JVCC AF50 Aluminum Foil Tape has a 5 mil high tensile strength aluminum foil backing combined with a high performance solvent acrylic adhesive. The tape's aluminum carrier provides an excellent reflection of both heat and light. Its high quality adhesive has strong adhesion and holding power. The tape is used in the HVAC industry for joining and sealing FSK (Foil-Scrim-Kraft) facing laminated fiberglass blanket/duct board joints and seams. It is also used to join and seal flexible air duct seams and connections and may be used for other industrial uses requiring a tape with these characteristics and benefits. The tape's aluminum backing is protected by an easy-release silicone paper release liner.
