Any questions? Our AI beta will help you find out quickly.
3M Safety-Walk Hazard Slip-Resistant Tape features a yellow and black stripe pattern that provides both slip resistance and high-visibility hazard marking in one product. The abrasive mineral surface is bonded to a durable backing with a heavy-duty adhesive for quick, easy application on steps, ramps, entrances, ladders, loading docks, walkways and other traffic areas.
This tape has been NFSI approved as High-Traction and is designed to meet OSHA and ADA coefficient of friction recommendations. The low-profile design helps reduce trip hazards, and the tape resists wrinkling, curling, tearing and lifting under normal foot traffic. Simply peel, apply and press firmly into place; cut to size with scissors as needed.

- Make sure the surface is clean, dry and smooth, and above 40°F before applying the tape. Repair or replace any damaged surface first.
- Remove any chipped, cracked or peeling paint, then clean the surface with an appropriate degreaser or solvent wipe and allow it to dry completely.
- On rough, porous or unpainted concrete, apply a coat of primer and let it dry until no longer tacky, about 15 minutes.
- Peel back the liner about 1 inch from one end and position the tape on the surface.
- Continue removing the liner while pressing the tape firmly in place. Avoid touching the adhesive with your fingers.
- Press the tape into firm contact with the surface using a rubber hand roller, starting at the middle and rolling out toward the edges.
- On steps, apply the tape about half an inch from the stair edge to help prevent edge curling and premature wear.
