V92 Daybright Microprismatic Conspicuity Tape is a DOT-compliant prismatic conspicuity tape with a 5-year durability rating, suitable for commercial truck and trailer marking. It serves as a cost-efficient and practical alternative to 10-year products when retrofitting equipment. This durable tape is resistant to weather and solvents, including petrol and diesel, and is engineered for rugged outdoor use on the sides and rear of trucks, trailers, tankers, dump trucks, tow trucks, pick up beds, and other types of work trucks and mobile industrial equipment. It bears the DOT-C2 certification mark per NHTSA 49 CFR 571.108 and consists of cube corner retroreflective elements integrally bonded to a flexible, smooth-surfaced, tough and weather-resistant UV stabilized polyester film. The prism surfaces are coated with a vacuum-deposited aluminum layer to create a mirror surface on the prism facets. The finished tape is no more than 0.008 inch thick and features a strong high-tack pressure-sensitive adhesive formulated for application to bare and painted metals, fiberglass, structural composite materials and more. It resists edge lift from repeated mechanical and hand washing.
