This 2-port DisplayPort 1.4 MST splitter features 1 DP input and hybrid DP + HDMI dual outputs, allowing you to connect one DisplayPort source to a combination of DisplayPort and HDMI monitors simultaneously. Adopting VESA DP 1.4 Multi-Stream Transport technology, it delivers two core working modes for Windows workstation users.
When running single-display mode via the HDMI port alone, it unlocks full bandwidth to output lag-free 4K@120Hz high-frame-rate video ideal for gaming and design work. When both DP and HDMI screens activate together, it supports MST extended desktop to display different content on each monitor, or SST mirror mode to duplicate the same picture on two displays at 4K@60Hz.
Important Compatibility Reminder: This MST hub strictly requires a Windows PC paired with an MST-enabled discrete/integrated graphics card. MacOS, ChromeOS and Linux systems do not support MST extended multi-screen function, only mirror SST mode is available on non-Windows devices.
