    Model and installation guide

    Choose the Corning component that matches the enclosure and trunk connection. The CCH module and EDGE panel serve different mounting and connection requirements.

     

    TECHNICAL DETAILS

    CCH-UM12-05-93Q: CCH 12-fiber OM4 module with shuttered LC duplex front connections and MTP trunk interface.

    EDGE-CP48-E3: EDGE 48-fiber MTP adapter panel for the listed 50 um OM3/OM4 configuration.

     

    BEFORE ORDERING

    Match the CCH or EDGE housing format, fiber category and connector arrangement. These models are separate options and do not share the same mounting or front connector configuration.

    Corning Plug & Play Universal Module, Low-Loss, 12 F, Shuttered LC to MTP®, 50 µm multimode (OM4)

    Part Number: CCH-UM12-05-93Q

    The Plug & Play modules provide the interface between the MTP® on the trunk and the LC duplex jumpers that will then connect directly into the electronics. The LC duplex adapters feature hinged VFL-compatible shutters that move up and out of the way when the connector is inserted. Specially designed indents in the shutters ensure that the end faces of the connectors are never touched. These shutters replace the standard dust caps that typically once removed are never replaced, exposing the interior end faces to dust particles and possible damage.
